1-Stalemate(Noun): स्थिति में अवरोध:A situation in which neither side in an argument or contest can win or in which no progress is possible

Synonyms: Impasse , Deadlock

Example Sentence: The new agreement could break the stalemate.


2-Confront(Verb) : सामना करना: To face especially in challenge : oppose

3-Aldermen(Noun) : One of the senior members of a local council, elected by other councilors
